Manis di Bibir...

Hari ini aku dapat email dari Graduate School of Business (GSB) Monash. Aku pikir email2 informasi biasa tapi ternyata email tersebut berisi tentang permohonan izin penggunaan comments yang aku tulis di survei GSB pada saat Induction program beberapa waktu yang lalu.

Dari email tersebut ada beberapa kesimpulan yang aku dapat (morale of the story):

1) Yang namanya intelectual property sangat dihormati di dunia akademik negara kangguru ini. Bahkan untuk sekedar penggunaan comments (yang kalo dilihat secara structure & grammatical-nya pun masih banyak kekurangan), mereka rela menyisihkan waktu untuk kirim email dan meminta izin dari sang empunya. So, plagiarism is not allowed!

2) Meminjam judul lagu grup band Malaysia "Exist", tulisanku di Survey tersebut benar2 "Manis di Bibir"...karena sesungguhnya ada beberapa hal tentang kampus yang aku masih ngak puas.

3) Introduction programme di GSB/Monash (baca masa OSPEK/Orientasi) dikemas dalam rangkaian yang menarik, meriah, sarat ilmu dan customer oriented. Bahkan di sesi tersebut, kami mahasiswa GSB Monash mendapat souvenir berupa tas, USB berlogo Monash GSB, Name Tag Monash GSB dan Q-Manual (panduan akademik Fakultas Ekonomi Monash, tentang masalah standar belajar, essay, quality review, grading etc).

4) Semoga kelak jika terlibat di sebuah institusi pendidikan aku bisa belajar tentang bagaimana mengelola pendidikan secara profesional.

Dear Gatot,
Firstly can I thank you for the time taken to fill out the survey, I was wondering if it would be possible to use some of your comments for the GSB website?
One of the question was: "Are there any other comments you wish to make about the program?"
You reply was:
"Keep it up the good spirit, arrangements and the food! The response of
the GSB staff was excellent. When I informed them that I changed the
session time, they promptly response and allocated me to the other
session schedule. Good service!!"
Please could you reply back if you agree that we can use this comment.
If you do agree please can I get some background information about yourself? For example what made you study at Monash?, what's you current work status?
